He’s funny, easy going and very knowledgeable. The historic places were awesome and the many cities visited were unique. We ate at some beautiful restaurants overlooking cliffs, mountains and rivers. We even got a taste of Great Britain as we spent a day with the monkeys at the Rock of Gibraltar. And his home is beautiful too. Waking of to a view of the Mediterranean Sea was peaceful. “A summer to remember…
We had the most incredible time on our trip to Spain with Felipe! Felipe and I met briefly in the parking lot at the Grey Rock Tennis Club in Austin, TX. We started talking and he shared that he hosts tours in Spain and shared his flyer with me. I was in the process of looking for places to go on vacation with our friends to celebrate both of our sons’ graduation from high school. After a few emails with Felipe, we decided to dive right in and book a tour with him!
It was the best decision we ever made! Planning a vacation with 4 adults and 4 teenage boys and keeping them all happy is not easy, but Felipe curated the perfect itinerary! Our trip was a perfect balance of sightseeing, beach time, and sports / activities. We went hiking, sea kayaking, caving, ziplining and played volleyball on the beach, tennis on a clay court and our new favorite sport, Padel! We fell in love with the Alhambra, Ronda, and the local beach bars minutes away from the house.
Felipe took care of every detail from picking us up at the airport, pre-planning all the tickets and tours, and making sure we still had plenty of time for a sangria or ‘tintos de verano’ along the way. He adjusted things so well if the boys wanted to sleep in or more beach time or we wanted more time to shop. It allowed all of us to truly be on vacation… our motto for the week was “Relajo!” (Relax!). A few super special highlights were a home cooked paella dinner with Felipe’s neighbors and celebrating la noche de San Juan! If you are looking for an amazing vacation… Felipe is your guy! We can’t wait to go back! “

‘‘Could not have imagined or dreamed a better trip. It far exceeded my expectations. Felipe and Elizabeth helped us plan an itinerary and we pretty much stuck to it only needing to switch a day. Communication was prompt and courteous during the entire process which was over 2 years….thanks Covid. We knew we were paying for a guide, but did not realize he would be with us pretty much from sun up to sun down. That was a nice and pleasant surprise. We enjoyed not only the beautiful scenery and history, but making a close and dear friend in the process. His excitement and enthusiasm for his county and its people are infectious. ‘Our trip to Spain was such an awesome trip! The beauty of the country is just so spectacular and our guide Felipe made it even more special by showing us the sights through the eyes of a native. From Flamenco show, Easter Celebrations, Wine tasting, Bullfighting ring, visiting Castles and Cathedrals, tasting exceptional Spanish foods (including a homemade paella) and learning about the history of Spain our trip was beyond anything we could have thought it would be.
